Sebastian is a six-year-old boy who embarked on a journey to build a brighter tomorrow. He has attended Planting Seeds' San Lucas preschool for two years. Sebastian's parents, Beatriz and Ramiro, actively participate in the wraparound programs Planting Seeds offers. In the "Playing with My Kid" program, Sebastian spends time with his parents playing at the construction center after school. This program provides valuable guidance to parents on how to engage intentionally with their children during playtime.

Besides the Playing with My Kid program, Planting Seeds offers nutrition, reproductive health, book-lending, and Parent Training programs. These initiatives have transformed Sebastian's family. For example, Sebastian, who was once a picky eater, now eagerly participates in cooking activities and often pretends to be a chef at home.

The nutrition program has introduced the family to new recipes, resulting in Sebastian's increased consumption of herbs and vegetables.

Through the Parent Training program, Beatriz and Ramiro have honed their communication skills and learned the importance of creating a safe space for their child to confide in them. Ramiro found the discipline-with-love workshop particularly valuable, equipping him with practical strategies to guide his son with empathy and understanding.
